CITY OF RIVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL COUNClLMEMBERS Minutes of: Time of Meeting: Place of Meeting: Date of Meeting: Regular Meeting of the City Council 9:30 a.m. Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall March 23, 2004 WARDS Roll Call: Mayor Loveridge called the meeting to order at 9:45 a.m. in the Art Pick Council Chamber. WORKSHOPS FISCAL YEAR 2004-05 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM - REFERRED TO COMMI'I-I'EE Following discussion, the City Council referred to the City Council Finance Committee the project and program recommendations from The Agency Executive Association (AEA) and Focus Areas for the Fiscal Year 2004-05 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)[unding recommendations. Motion carried with Mayor Loveridge voting "Yes". COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT TARGET AREA CONCEPT - CONTINUED TO LATER IN DAY Following discussion and without formal motion, the City Council continued to later in the day discussion of evaluation criteria for the Fiscal Year 2004-05 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) process. RECESS The City Council recessed at 12:10 p.m. and reconvened at 2:30 p.m. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE There were no comments presented at this time. CLOSED SESSIONS The Mayor and City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed sessions pursuant to Government Code {}54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel conceming (1) one claim pursuant to the Tort Claims Act in the matter of E, Miller v. City of Riverside; and (2) one case of anticipated litigation. City Attorney Greg Priamos announced there were no reportable actions taken on the closed sessions, RECESS The City Council recessed at 2:50 p.m. and reconvened at 3 p.m. in the Mayor's Ceremonial Room.
