INCLUSIVENESS, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, <br />AND GOVERNMENTAL PROCESSES COMMITTEE <br />MINUTES <br />WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2022, 3:30 P.M. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT IN PERSON/TELEPHONE <br />. f ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />City o%Arts BZ Innovation 3900 MAIN STREET <br />PRESENT: Chair Cervantes, Vice Chair Perry, and Member Conder <br />ABSENT: None <br />STAFF PRESENT: Donesia Gause <br />ALSO PRESENT: None <br />Chair Cervantes convened the meeting at 3:32 p.m. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There was no one wishing to address the Committee. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/PLANNING REFERRALS AND APPEALS <br />2022 RESHAPE RIVERSIDE REDISTRICTING PROCESS UPDATE <br />Hearing was called on the Reshape Riverside Redistricting Plan. Twelve people spoke on <br />the matter. The public hearing was officially closed. <br />Following discussion and without formal motion, the Committee directed staff to <br />(1) eliminate Draft Map A, Eastside and University, Triangle Arts and Innovation District, <br />Howard Vine and Park Avenues; (2) draft a new map with the triangle; (3) increase <br />communication and outreach efforts; and (4) uplift 8321 modified Community of Interest <br />(COI) with slight modifications to include more majority/minority districts. <br />DISCUSSION CALENDAR <br />CODE OF THICS AND CONDUCT <br />Following discussion, it was moved by Vice Chair Perry and seconded by Member <br />Conder to (1) accept the proposed changes to the Code of Ethics and Conduct by the <br />Board of Ethics and the Committee; and (2) recommend the City Council consider the <br />ICGC-48 <br />
