1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />7.R <br />RESOLUTION NO. 50 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA, AS SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE FORMER <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE DECLARING <br />THREE SUCCESSOR AGENCY PROPERTIES AS SURPLUS. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 22322, adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Riverside ("City") on January 10, 2012, the City of Riverside agreed to serve as the Successor Agency <br />("Successor Agency") to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside ("Redevelopment <br />Agency") commencing upon dissolution of the Redevelopment Agency on February 1, 2012 pursuant <br />to Assembly Bill xl 26 ("AB 26"); and <br />WHEREAS, Health and Safety Code Section 34177 (i) provides that a successor agency is <br />required to continue to oversee development of properties until the contracted work has been <br />completed or the contractual obligations of the Redevelopment Agency can be transferredto other <br />parties; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to AB 1484 and Health and Safety Code Section 34191.5(c)(2), the <br />Successor Agency prepared a Long -Range Property Management Plan ("Plan") dated February 25, <br />2014, for the disposition of the former Redevelopment Agency properties; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 6, 2014, the Department of Finance approved the Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, effective January 1, 2020, AB 1486 expanded the Surplus Land Act and included <br />the Successor Agency as an entity subject to the disposition provision; and <br />WHEREAS, the Successor Agency desires to declare the following three properties as surplus: <br />2015-2039 University Avenue ("Property 1"), 3740 First Street, 3159 and 3167 Main Street, 3741 <br />Second Street, and 3100 and 3190 Market Street ("Property 2"), and 11073-11099 Hole Avenue, <br />11079 Bushnell Avenue, and 11.035 Wells Avenue ("Property 3") for disposition pursuant to the Plan; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Property 1 consists of approximately 0.59 acres of vacant land bearing Assessor's <br />Parcel Numbers 211-174-011, -012, and -025, Property 2 consists of 1.66 acres of vacant land bearing <br />Assessor's Parcel Numbers 213-022-001, -004, -005, -006, -008 and -009, and Property 3 consists of <br />
