The rezoning case was approved <br />by the Planning Commission on January 8, 2004. A copy of the staff report and original <br />transmittal to the City Council is attached. The City Council subsequently continued the rezoning <br />case to April 6, 2004 and referred the matter to the Land Use Committee for review and <br />recommendation. At its March 11, 2004 meeting, the Land Use Committee unanimously <br />recommended that the rezoning request be approved. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br /> <br />To deny the rezoning request. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br />Staff presented this item to the Land Use Committee on March 11, 2004. All three Committee <br />members were present and concurred in the suggested recommendations and then moved this <br />item forward for consideration by the City Council. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />That the City Council: <br />1. APPROVE Case P03-1349 to rezone the subject site from the M-2 to the R-1-65 Zone. <br /> <br />11-1 <br />
