<br /> <br />1 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 7622 <br />2 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING <br />SECTION 10.56.050 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL CODE TO <br />3 <br />ESTABLISH AXLE RESTRICTIONS ON LA SIERRA AVENUE. <br />4 <br /> <br />5 <br />The City Council of the City of Riverside does ordain as follows: <br />6 <br /> Section 1: Section 10.56.050 of the Riverside Municipal Code is hereby amended to read <br />7 <br />as follows: <br />8 <br />“Section 10.56.050 Commercial vehicles exceeding three (3) axles prohibited from <br />using certain streets. <br />9 <br /> <br />When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall operate any commercial <br />10 <br />vehicle exceeding three (3) axles at any time upon any of the streets or parts of streets <br />11 <br />listed below, except that such vehicle may be operated thereon for the purpose of <br />delivering or picking up materials or merchandise or the performance of services in <br />12 <br />connection with and in aid of a property in the block, and then only by entering such <br />street at the intersection nearest the destination of the vehicle and proceeding thereon no <br />13 <br />farther than the nearest intersection thereafter: <br />14 <br />Exceeding Three (3) Axles: <br />15 <br />Name of Street Limits of Prohibition <br />16 <br />Alessandro Boulevard Central Avenue to Trautwein Road <br />17 <br />. . . <br />18 <br /> <br /> <br />La Sierra Avenue Southerly limits to the SR-91 Freeway <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br /> <br />. . .” <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council has reviewed the matter and, based upon the facts and <br />21 <br />information contained in the staff reports, administrative record, and written and oral testimony, <br />22 <br />hereby finds that this ordinance is not subject to CEQA pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2), <br />23 <br />15060(c)(3) and/or 15061(b)(3) of the State CEQA Guidelines, California Code of Regulations, <br />24 <br />Title 14, chapter 3, in that it will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical <br />25 <br />change in the environment nor have a significant impact on the environment.
