INCLUSIVENESS, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, <br />AND GOVERNMENTAL PROCESSES COMMITTEE <br />MINUTES <br />WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 3, 2022, 3:30 P.M. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT IN PERSON/TELEPHONE <br />ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />City Y'Arts &Innovation 3900 MAIN STREET <br />PRESENT: Chair Cervantes, Vice Chair Perry, and Member Conder <br />ABSENT: None <br />STAFF PRESENT: Donesia Gause, Susan Wilson, and Rafael Guzman <br />ALSO PRESENT: Paul Mitchell <br />Chair Cervantes convened the meeting at 3:30 p.m. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There was no one wishing to address the Committee. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/PLANNING REFERRALS AND APPEALS <br />2022 RESHAPE RIVERSIDE REDISTRICTING PROCESS UPDATE <br />Hearing was called to conduct the first of a series of Public Hearings on the Reshape <br />Riverside Redistricting Plan. Seven people spoke on the matter. The Public Hearing was <br />officially closed. <br />Following discussion and without formal motion, the Committee directed staff to conduct <br />(1) four Redistricting public hearings with one hearing held in the evening; and (2) two in- <br />person workshops on Saturday to encourage public participation in the City's Reshape <br />Riverside Redistricting Plan. <br />DISCUSSION CALENDAR <br />APPOINT COMMITTEE MEMBER TO AD HOC COMMITTEE TO WORK WITH MEMBERS OF <br />BOARD OF ETHICS TO REVIEW CODE OF ETHICS AND CONDUCT COMPLAINT HEARING <br />PROCESS <br />Following discussion and without formal motion, the Committee agreed to conduct <br />evening workshops comprising of the three Inclusiveness, Community Engagement, and <br />ICGC-36 <br />
