INCLUSIVENESS, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, <br />AND GOVERNMENTAL PROCESSES COMMITTEE <br />MINUTES <br />WEDNESDAY, JULY 6, 2022, 3:30 P.M. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT IN PERSON/TELEPHONE <br />• ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />City ?f Arts&Innovation 3900 MAIN STREET <br />PRESENT: Vice Chair Perry and Member Conder <br />ABSENT: Chair Cervantes <br />STAFF PRESENT: Donesia Gause, and Megan Stoye <br />ALSO PRESENT: None <br />Vice Chair Perry convened the meeting at 3:30 p.m. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There was no one wishing to address the Committee. <br />DISCUSSION CALENDAR <br />2022 REDISTRICTING UPDATE <br />Following discussion and without formal motion, the Committee (1) received and ordered <br />filed the Redistricting plan update; and (2) recommended that staff schedule community <br />Redistricting meetings between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. <br />CITY COUNCIL RULES OF PROCEDURE AND ORDER OF BUSINESS REVIEW REGARDING <br />NUMBER AND ROLE OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Following discussion and without formal motion, the Committee(]) reviewed <br />recommendations deemed necessary to the current and/or proposed City Council Rules <br />of Procedure and Order of Business related to the number and role of Boards and <br />Commissions as documented in Resolution No. 23618; (2) that staff include a <br />recommendation for City Council not meet on the day following a holiday; and <br />(3) request staff bring forth any specific language recommendations along with a <br />corresponding resolution to the full City Council for discussion. <br />ICGC-34 <br />
