CITY COUNCIL <br />C <br />MINUTES <br />TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2022, 3:00 P.M. <br />• PUBLIC COMMENT IN PERSON/TELEPHONE <br />City of Arts &,Innovation ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />3900 MAIN STREET <br />PRESENT: Mayor Lock Dawson, Councilmembers Edwards, Cervantes, Fierro, Conder, <br />Perry, and Hemenway <br />ABSENT: Councilwoman Plascencia <br />Mayor Lock Dawson called the meeting to order at 3:01 p.m. <br />Councilmember Fierro gave the Invocation. <br />Corporal Adrian Castillo, Private 1st Class Chad White, and Lance Corporal Bryan Lemas <br />of the 3rd Battalion 1 1 f Marine Regiment 29 Palms led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />Debra Thornton spoke regarding construction on Spruce and Rustin Avenue. Errol <br />Koschewitz spoke regarding City Council Oaths of Office. John Fisher spoke regarding <br />local Democratic Club luncheon. Mike McCulty spoke regarding Good Neighbor <br />Guidelines and City recommendations to March Joint Power Authority regarding <br />warehouses. Patrick Maloney spoke regarding Festival of Lights, Karaoke Night at the <br />Packing house, and Open Mic Night at Back to the Grind. Paula Horychuk spoke <br />regarding withdrawal of resignation. Aurora Chavez spoke regarding Riverside <br />Transmission Reliability Project (RTRP). <br />CEREMONIAL PRESENTATION <br />RIVERSIDE PROSPERS SUCCESS REPORT <br />Mayor Lock Dawson presented a report on Project Dash. <br />MAYOR/COUNCILMEMBER COMMUNICATIONS <br />Councilmember Edwards reported on Festival of Lights. Councilmember Cervantes <br />reported on Project Dash, candlelight vigil for the five lives lost in Colorado, and <br />recognized the Tribal nations during the holiday season and thanked various community <br />groups for food and turkey giveaways. Councilmember Conder reported on Alzheimer's <br />Awareness Month, Western Municipal Water District roundtable, and wished everyone a <br />Happy Thanksgiving. Councilmember Perry reported on Las Posadas de Riverside event, <br />108-144 <br />
