BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />DRAFT MINUTES <br />MONDAY, OCTOBER 24,2022,6:30 P.M. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT IN-PERSON/TELEPHONE <br />City Mrts&Innovation ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />3900 MAIN STREET, RIVERSIDE, CA 92522 <br />PRESENT: Chair David Crohn, Vice Chair Rebeccah Goldware and Board Members <br />Nipunjeet Gujral, Rosemary Heru, Nancy Melendez, Gil Oceguera, and Peter <br />Wohlgemuth <br />ABSENT: Board Member Gary Montgomery <br />Chair Crohn called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />Member Wohlgemuth led the pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There was no one wishing to address the Board of Public Utilities. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />It was moved by Member Melendez and seconded by Member Oceguera to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as presented below affirming the actions appropriate to each item. The <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />MINUTES <br />The minutes of the meeting of September 26, 2022, were approved as presented. <br />PUBLIC UTILITIES ELECTRIC 2023 ANNUAL RESOURCE ADEQUACY PLAN FILING WITH CALIFORNIA <br />INDEPENDENT SYSTEM OPERATOR (CAISO) IN COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 40 OF ITS TARIFF <br />The Board of Public Utilities (1) approved the Riverside Public Utilities Electric 2023 Annual <br />Resource Adequacy Plan compliance filing; and (2) authorized filing the Riverside Utilities <br />Electric 2023 Annual Resource Adequacy Plan with the California Independent System <br />Operator in compliance with Section 40 of its tariff. <br />FISCAL YEAR 2021-22 SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PUBLIC POWER AUTHORITY (SCPPA) <br />SEMI-ANNUAL EXPENDITURE REPORT <br />The Board of Public Utilities (1) received and ordered filed the Southern California <br />Public Power Authority (SCPPA) semi-annual expenditure report for Fiscal Year 2021-22; and <br />(2) recommended that the City Council receive the Southern California Public Power <br />Authority semi-annual expenditure report for Fiscal Year 2021-22. <br />
