RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES Board Memorandum BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DATE: OCTOBER 24, 2022 GENERAL MANAGERS REPORT SUBJECT: WA-12 AGRICULTURAL SERVICE WATER RATE REPORT AUGUST 31, 2022 The City Council adopted the WA-12 Agricultural Service water rate schedule (WA-12) on October 15, 2019, with an effective date of January 1, 2020. As of August 31, 2022, the WA-12 water rate schedule includes 233 customers. An estimated $405,783 of the annual program allocation of $684,000 has been allocated. As of January 1, 2022, the agricultural water allocation was updated using the rolling 15-year monthly average evapotranspiration (ETo) value weather data (2006-2020). Through August 31, 2022, customers used approximately 56% of their estimated allotment of water or 233,022 hundred cubic feet (CCF) (535 acre-feet) out of the allotted 415,742 CCF (954 acre-feet), for the eight-month period.
