RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES Board Memorandum BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DATE: SEPTEMBER 12, 2022 GENERAL MANAGERS REPORT SUBJECT: WA-12 AGRICULTURAL SERVICE WATER RATE REPORT JULY 31, 2022 The City Council adopted the WA-12 Agricultural Service water rate schedule (WA-12) on October 15, 2019, with an effective date of January 1, 2020. As of July 31, 2022, the WA-12 water rate schedule includes 227 customers. An estimated $404,194 of the annual program allocation of $684,000 has been allocated. As of January 1, 2022, the agricultural water allocation was updated using the rolling 15-year monthly average evapotranspiration (ETo) value weather data (2006-2020). Through July 31, 2022, customers used approximately 55% of their estimated allotment of water or 188,724 hundred cubic feet (CCF) (433 acre-feet) out of the allotted 343,738 CCF (789 acre-feet), for the seven-month period.
