BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />DRAFT MINUTES <br />MONDAY, JULY 25,2022,6:30 P.M. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT IN-PERSON/TELEPHONE <br />CiV of Arts &Innovation ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />3900 MAIN STREET, RIVERSIDE, CA 92522 <br />PRESENT: Chair David Crohn, Vice Chair Rebeccah Goldware and Board Members <br />Rosemary Heru, Nancy Melendez, Gary Montgomery, Gil Oceguera, and <br />Peter Wohlgemuth <br />ABSENT: Members Deborah Cherney and Nipunjeet Gujral <br />Chair Crohn called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />Member Montgomery led the pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There was no one wishing to address the Board of Public Utilities. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Power Resources Manager Tracy Sato provided the Riverside Public Utilities sustainability <br />efforts update. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />It was moved by Vice Chair Goldware and seconded by Member Melendez to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as presented below affirming the actions appropriate to each item with <br />the item regarding program enhancements and additions to Water Conservation Surcharge <br />programs as a response to California Drought pulled for separate discussion. The motion <br />carried unanimously with Members Cherney, Gujral, and Oseguera absent. <br />MINUTES <br />The minutes of the meeting of July 11, 2022, were approved as presented. <br />BOARD ATTENDANCE <br />The Board of Public Utilities excused the absence of Members Gujral and Melendez from the <br />June 27, 2022, meeting. <br />AGREEMENT FOR REPLACEMENT OF FIVE FUEL METERS - WORK ORDER 2225714 - SPRINGS FUEL <br />METERS UPGRADE PROJECT <br />The Board of Public Utilities (1) approved an agreement with Micro Motion, Inc., Boulder, <br />Colorado, to replace five fuel meters at the Springs Power Plant in the amount of $131,202; <br />(2) approved Work Order 2225714 for the Springs Fuel Meters Upgrade Project in the amount <br />of $156,722; and (3) authorized the City Manager, or designee, to execute the Agreement, <br />including making minor and non -substantive changes. <br />
