BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DRAFT MINUTES MONDAY, JULY 25,2022,6:30 P.M. PUBLIC COMMENT IN-PERSON/TELEPHONE CiV of Arts &Innovation ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER 3900 MAIN STREET, RIVERSIDE, CA 92522 PRESENT: Chair David Crohn, Vice Chair Rebeccah Goldware and Board Members Rosemary Heru, Nancy Melendez, Gary Montgomery, Gil Oceguera, and Peter Wohlgemuth ABSENT: Members Deborah Cherney and Nipunjeet Gujral Chair Crohn called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Member Montgomery led the pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE There was no one wishing to address the Board of Public Utilities. COMMUNICATIONS Power Resources Manager Tracy Sato provided the Riverside Public Utilities sustainability efforts update. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Vice Chair Goldware and seconded by Member Melendez to approve the Consent Calendar as presented below affirming the actions appropriate to each item with the item regarding program enhancements and additions to Water Conservation Surcharge programs as a response to California Drought pulled for separate discussion. The motion carried unanimously with Members Cherney, Gujral, and Oseguera absent. MINUTES The minutes of the meeting of July 11, 2022, were approved as presented. BOARD ATTENDANCE The Board of Public Utilities excused the absence of Members Gujral and Melendez from the June 27, 2022, meeting. AGREEMENT FOR REPLACEMENT OF FIVE FUEL METERS - WORK ORDER 2225714 - SPRINGS FUEL METERS UPGRADE PROJECT The Board of Public Utilities (1) approved an agreement with Micro Motion, Inc., Boulder, Colorado, to replace five fuel meters at the Springs Power Plant in the amount of $131,202; (2) approved Work Order 2225714 for the Springs Fuel Meters Upgrade Project in the amount of $156,722; and (3) authorized the City Manager, or designee, to execute the Agreement, including making minor and non -substantive changes.
