CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />Minutes of: <br />Time of Meeting: <br />Place of Meeting: <br />Date of Meeting: <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the ,City Council <br />1 p.m. <br />Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall <br />March 9, 2004 <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />In the absence of Mayor Loveridge, Mayor Pro Tempore Schiavone called the <br />meeting to order at 1 p.m. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSIONS <br />The City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed <br />sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) §54956.9 to confer with and/or <br />receive advice from legal counsel concerning a claim pursuant to the Tort <br />Claims Act in the matter of Riverside City Firefighters Association, et al. v. <br />City of Riverside; and (2) §54957.6 to review the City Council's position and <br />instruct designated representatives regarding salaries, salary schedules, or <br />compensation paid in the form of fringe benefits of the Fire Management Unit, <br />Riverside City Firefighters' Association, Police Management Unit (RPAA), <br />Riverside Police Officers Association (Police and Police Supervisory Units), <br />Service Employees International Union Locals 1!)97 and 2028, International <br />Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 47, and all Miscellaneous and/or <br />Management and Confidential Employees as defined by PERS. <br /> <br />The City Council returned to the Art Pick Council Chamber. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT <br />City Attorney Priamos announced there were no reportable actions taken on <br />the closed sessions. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AND PLANNING REFERRALS AND APPEALS <br /> <br />CASE P03-0135 - APPEAL WITHDRAWN - TRACT MAP 31147 - NLY. <br />TERMINUS OF BUCHANAN <br />Further hearing was called on the appeal of Daniel E. Katz of Reid & Hellyer <br />on behalf of Infinity Homes, LLC, from the decision of the Planning <br />Commission in approving with modifications ;and subject to conditions <br />proposed Tract Map 31147 by Infinity Homes to subdivide approximately <br />28.5 acres into 63 lots situated at the northerly terminus of Buchanan Street, <br />in Zones R-1-65 and RC. No one was present wishing to speak on the <br />matter. Five letters were presented and considered. Following discussion, <br />the public hearing was officially closed.
