CITY OF RIVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL Minutes of: Time of Meeting: Place of Meeting: Date of Meeting: Regular Meeting of the ,City Council 1 p.m. Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall March 9, 2004 Roll Call: In the absence of Mayor Loveridge, Mayor Pro Tempore Schiavone called the meeting to order at 1 p.m. CLOSED SESSIONS The City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning a claim pursuant to the Tort Claims Act in the matter of Riverside City Firefighters Association, et al. v. City of Riverside; and (2) §54957.6 to review the City Council's position and instruct designated representatives regarding salaries, salary schedules, or compensation paid in the form of fringe benefits of the Fire Management Unit, Riverside City Firefighters' Association, Police Management Unit (RPAA), Riverside Police Officers Association (Police and Police Supervisory Units), Service Employees International Union Locals 1!)97 and 2028, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 47, and all Miscellaneous and/or Management and Confidential Employees as defined by PERS. The City Council returned to the Art Pick Council Chamber. CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT City Attorney Priamos announced there were no reportable actions taken on the closed sessions. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND PLANNING REFERRALS AND APPEALS CASE P03-0135 - APPEAL WITHDRAWN - TRACT MAP 31147 - NLY. TERMINUS OF BUCHANAN Further hearing was called on the appeal of Daniel E. Katz of Reid & Hellyer on behalf of Infinity Homes, LLC, from the decision of the Planning Commission in approving with modifications ;and subject to conditions proposed Tract Map 31147 by Infinity Homes to subdivide approximately 28.5 acres into 63 lots situated at the northerly terminus of Buchanan Street, in Zones R-1-65 and RC. No one was present wishing to speak on the matter. Five letters were presented and considered. Following discussion, the public hearing was officially closed.
