BOARD OF PUBILIC U'T1flL1[T1flES DRAFT MINUTES MONDAY, JUNE 27,2022,6:30 P.M. 4 PUBLIC COMMENT IN-PERSON/TELEPHONE City gArts&Innovation ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER 3900 MAIN STREET, RIVERSIDE, CA 92522 PRESENT: Chair David Crohn, Vice Chair Rebeccah Goldware and Board Members Deborah Cherney, Rosemary Heru, Gary Montgomery, Gil Oceguera, and Peter Wohlgemuth ABSENT: Members Nipunjeet Gujral and Nancy Melendez Chair Crohn called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Member Wohlgemuth led the pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE There was no one wishing to address the Board of Public Utilities. PUBLIC HEARING 2022 PUBLIC WATER SYSTEM REPORT ON PUBLIC HEALTH GOALS AS REQUIRED UNDER CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTION 116470 (C) Hearing was called to review the 2022 Public Water System Report on Public Health Goals and receive public input. No one spoke regarding the matter. Following discussion, it was moved by Member Oceguera and seconded by Member Wohlgemuth to close the public hearing. The motion carried unanimously with Members Gujral and Melendez absent. Following further discussion, it was moved by Member Oceguera and seconded by Member Wohlgemuth to accept the 2022 Public Water System Report on Public Health Goals as required under California Health and Safety Code Section 116470 (c). The motion carried unanimously with Members Gujral and Melendez absent. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Member Oceguera and seconded by Member Wohlgemuth to approve the Consent Calendar as presented below affirming the actions appropriate to each item. The motion carried unanimously with Members Gujral and Melendez absent. MINUTES The minutes of the meeting of June 13, 2022, were approved as presented. BOARD ATTENDANCE The Board of Public Utilities excused the absence of Board Member Heru from the May 23, 2022, meeting.
