BEK Impact Corporation Training Agreement 2022-2024 2 <br /> <br />like to continue this training for the current two-year training cycle, which ends December 31, <br />2022, and the next two-year training cycle between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2024. <br /> <br />Therefore, the Police Department is requesting City Council approval to enter into the proposed <br />Service Agreement with BEK Impact Corporation, of Moreno Valley, California, for <br /> <br /> <br />This agreement is being entered into in accordance with Purchasing Resolution No. 23812, <br />Section 403, <br />Technology software maintenance and license renewals; training; advertising; or professional <br />recruitment services where the Manager is satisfied that the best price; terms and condition for <br /> <br /> <br />The Purchasing Services Manager concurs that the recommendation is in compliance with <br />Purchasing Resolution No. 23812, Section 403. <br /> <br /> <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT: <br /> <br />This item contributes to Strategic Priority No. 2 Community Well-Being and Goal No. 2.5 Foster <br />relationships between community members, partner organizations, and public safety <br />professionals to define, prioritize, and address community safety and social service needs. <br /> <br />The item aligns with each of the five Cross-Cutting Threads as follows: <br /> <br />Community Trust <br />provides the Police Department with a tool that will help Public Safety Officers engage with <br />the community. The training will assist the Department in serving the public interest, <br />blic good. <br /> <br />Equity The <br />distribution of services to ensure every member of the community has equal access to share <br />in the benefits of community progress. <br /> <br />Fiscal Responsibility The Police Department realizes that there is a cost associated with <br /> and believes that the benefit of continuing the <br />in providing a quality public service to all. <br /> <br />Innovation In order to prepare for the future, the Police Department evaluates its training <br />schedule regularly and adjusts the schedule as necessary to meet the changing needs of the <br />community. <br /> <br />Sustainability & Resiliency The proposed agreement <br />training shows the Police Departments commitment to meeting the needs of the present <br />preserve, adapt and grow. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
