With at least five affirmative votes, authorize the CFO, or his designee, to record an <br />increase revenue and a supplemental appropriation in the amount of $24,800 in the Grants <br />and Special Programs Fund, United States Marshals Service Regional Fugitive Task <br />Force, revenue and expenditure accounts for a total amount of $150,000; and <br />2. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the US Marshals Service Obligation <br />Document to acknowledge reimbursement of funds for services performed in cooperation <br />with the task force in an amount up to $150,000. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The United States Marshals Service (USMS) Regional Fugitive Task Force investigates and <br />arrests persons who have active state and federal warrants for their arrest. Violent offenders are <br />the primary focus of the task force. <br />On March 15, 2022, the City Council increased revenues and authorized supplemental <br />appropriations in the total amount of $533,475 in the Grants and Special Programs Fund, for <br />various Police Department Task Force Programs, including $125,200 for overtime reimbursement <br />
