' I TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2022, 1 P.M. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT IN PERSON/TELEPHONE <br />City �fArts 8Z Innovation ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />3900 MAIN STREET <br />PRESENT: Mayor Lock Dawson, Councilmembers Edwards, Cervantes, Fierro, Conder, <br />Perry, and Hemenway and Councilwoman Plascencia <br />ABSENT: None <br />Mayor Lock Dawson called the meeting to order at 1:01 p.m. <br />Councilmember Conder gave the Invocation and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />Nancy Magi spoke regarding the Ward 6 Newsletter and Senate Bill 9. <br />MAYOR/COUNCILMEMBER COMMUNICATIONS <br />Councilmember Edwards reported on the Dickens Festival and co -hosting a meeting with <br />Integrity Housing regarding the Commons development. Councilmember Cervantes <br />congratulated Inland Empire Justice Leadership Academy graduates and reported on <br />virtual neighborhood meeting which will include update on trash pickup and Area East <br />Commander Lieutenant Banks, tree planting event with Tree people, and University of <br />California, Riverside Botanic Gardens opening. Councilmember Conder reported the <br />passing of Retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant General Harry E. Goldsworthy. Councilwoman <br />Plascencia reported on virtual office hours. Councilmember Perry reported on a business <br />community meeting regarding homeless issues. Councilmember Hemenway reported <br />on the Riverside Transit Agency mobile vaccine clinic and announced the recruitment of <br />volunteers for Ward 7 Beautification Project. Mayor Lock Dawson reported on the <br />upcoming virtual State of the City, Big Tent Tour will be in-person at Riverside Adult School <br />in the Riverside Unified School District Boardroom, and the Mayor's Blood Drive. <br />ANNOUNCEMENT OF COMMITTEE MEETING <br />The City Council Housing and Homelessness Committee will conduct and in person and <br />virtual meeting at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, February 28, 2022, at the Art Pick Council <br />Chamber. <br />107-239 <br />
