BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />DRAFT MINUTES <br />MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2022, 6:30 P.M. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT IN-PERSON/TELEPHONE <br />CiV of Arts &Innovation ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />3900 MAIN STREET, RIVERSIDE, CA 92522 <br />PRESENT: Chair Elizabeth Sanchez-Monville, Vice Chair David Crohn, and Board <br />Members Deborah Cherney, Rebeccah Goldware, Rosemary Heru, <br />Nancy Melendez, Gary Montgomery, Gil Oceguera, and Peter <br />Wohlgemuth <br />ABSENT: None <br />Chair Elizabeth Sanchez-Monville called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />Mary and Charlie Monville led the pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There was no one wishing to address the Board of Public Utilities. <br />PRESENTATION <br />General Manager Corbin presented a Proclamation to Chair Sanchez-Monville <br />recognizing her service on the Board of Public Utilities. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Power Resources Manager Tracy Sato provided the Riverside Public Utilities sustainability <br />efforts update. <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />WATER RULE 17 AND ELECTRIC RULE 21 - DISPUTED BILL APPEAL PROCESSES AND WATER <br />RULE 6 AND ELECTRIC RULE 6 - METER INVESTIGATIONS AND ADJUSTMENTS OF BILLS <br />Hearing was called to review Water Rule 17 and Electric Rule 21 for the Disputed Bill <br />Appeal Processes and changes to Water Rule 6 and Electric Rule 6 for Meter <br />Investigations and Adjustments of Bills. No one spoke regarding the matter. Following <br />discussion, it was moved by Member Cherney and seconded by Member Melendez to <br />close the public hearing. The motion carried unanimously. <br />Following further discussion, it was moved by Member Oceguera and seconded by <br />Member Montgomery recommending that the City Council adopt the resolutions <br />approving the changes to Water Rule 17, Electric Rule 21, Water Rule 6, and Electric Rule 6 <br />as described in the staff report. The motion carried unanimously. <br />
