VIRTUAL MEETING City gArts&Innovation PUBLIC COMMENT VIA TELEPHONE PRESENT: Vice Chair David Crohn, and Board Members Deborah Cherney, Rebeccah Goldware, Rosemary Heru, Nancy Melendez, Gary Montgomery, Gil Oceguera, and Peter Wohlgemuth ABSENT: Chair Elizabeth Sanchez-Monville Vice Chair Crohn called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Board Member Goldware led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE There was no one wishing to address the Board of Public Utilities. Board Member Montgomery arrived during the following item. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Member Oceguera and seconded by Member Cherney to approve the Consent Calendar as presented below affirming the actions appropriate to each item. The motion carried unanimously. MINUTES The minutes of the meeting of January 24, 2022, were approved as presented. BOARD ATTENDANCE The Board of Public Utilities excused the absence of Chair Sanchez-Monville from the January 10, 2022, meeting due to a conflict. HOLIDAY MEETING SCHEDULE The Board of Public Utilities approved the cancellation of regularly scheduled Board of Public Utilities meetings for March 28, October 10, and December 26, 2022, due to the holidays. DISCUSSION CALENDAR RENTAL FEES FOR USE OF UNDEVELOPABLE RIVERSIDE AND GAGE CANALS PARCELS Following discussion, it was moved by Member Cherney and seconded by Member Oceguera recommending that the City Council (1) approve the proposed increased rental rates for the use of undevelopable Riverside Canal and Gage Canal parcels for Open Space or Single -Family Residential use at $0.17 per square foot annually, and all other uses including Multi -Family, Commercial, Industrial, etc., at $0.66 per square foot annually; and
