<br /> <br /> RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br /> Board Memorandum <br /> <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DATE: FEBRUARY 14, 2022 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: EXPENDITURE FOR AN EXISTING CONTRACT WITH ANNUAL RECURRING <br />EXPENDITURES FOR SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE COSTS WITH SYSTEMS <br />AND SOFTWARE, INC., IN THE TOTAL ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $332,423.26 <br /> <br />ISSUE: <br />Consider approving the expenditure with Systems and Software Inc., for Fiscal Year 2021/22 for <br />software maintenance costs in the total amount of $332,423.26. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />That the Board of Public Utilities approve the annually recurring expenditure for Fiscal Year <br />2021/22 for software maintenance costs with Systems and Software, Inc., in the total amount of <br />$332,423.26. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On June 1, 2012, the Board of Public Utilities approved the Master License Agreement and <br />Software Maintenance Agreement with Systems & Software, Inc. (S&S) as the prime contractor <br />for all applications integrating with Customer Information Systems (CIS) and hold responsibility <br />for product implementation across all solutions. The scope of services under the S&S contract <br />includes: <br /> Customer Information System-- enQuesta CIS <br /> Citywide Cashiering - iNovah <br />Additional module customization was implemented for the initial CIS system to support Automated <br />Metering Infrastructure functionality, as well as added functionality to the CIS system. The <br />Software Maintenance Agreement is part of the original contract to be renewed on an annual <br />basis under Section 4.a - <br />Program shall automatically renew on an annual basis and shall be valid on a calendar year <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: <br />On June 28, 2021, the Board approved the Fiscal Year 2021/22 annual purchase orders for <br />Electric and Water operations, for Central Stores for orders benefiting Electric and Water <br /> <br />
