DBA BENYA BURNETT <br />CONSULTANCY FOR CITYWIDE STREETLIGHT LIGHT-EMITTING DIODE <br />CONVERSION PROGRAM TO EXTEND TERM BY ONE YEAR, ENDING <br />SEPTEMBER 9, 2022 WITH NO INCREASE IN COMPENSATION <br />ISSUE: <br />Consider approving the Second Amendment to Professional Consultant Services Agreement with <br />Design Services, Inc., dba Benya Burnett Consultancy, of Davis, California, for Citywide <br />Streetlight Light-Emitting Diode (LED) Conversion Program to extend term by one-year, ending <br />September 9, 2022 with no increase in compensation. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />That the Board of Public Utilities: <br />1. Approve the Second Amendment to Professional Consultant Services Agreement with <br />Design Services, Inc., dba Benya Burnett Consultancy, of Davis, California for the Citywide <br />Streetlight Light-Emitting Diode (LED) Conversion Program to extend term by one-year, <br />ending September 9, 2022 with no increase in compensation; and <br /> <br />2. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the Second Amendment for <br />Professional Consultant Service Agreement with Design Services, Inc., dba Benya Burnett <br />Consultancy, including making minor and non-substantive changes. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On July 25, 2016, the Board of Public Utilities recommended that the City Council approve Work <br />Order No. 1611216 for a total capital expenditure of $1,150,000 and a Professional Consultant <br />Services Agreement with Design Services, Inc. dba Benya Burnett Consultancy in the amount of <br />$855,290 for design services for the Citywide Streetlight Light-Emitting Diode (LED) Conversion <br />Program. <br />On September 6, 2016, the City Council approved Work Order No. 1611216 for a total capital <br />expenditure of $1,150,000 and a Professional Consultant Services Agreement with Design <br />Services, Inc. dba Benya Burnett Consultancy in the amount of $855,290 for design services for <br />the Citywide Streetlight Light-Emitting Diode LED Conversion Program. <br /> <br />
