It's like they were again her defense attorney AFTER being found guilty again. I could care less about a persons ethnicity, sex or even sexual preference. So sick of the race card being played. And for Erin to support her because she was female made me gasp. I want people of quality regardless of the above characteristics. Do not the other "old white men" ( someone's else's description not mine ) realize that their butt is on the line in her narrow minded bigotry.? By their lack of conviction and ability to address a wrong they have in essence condoned her actions which will only make her feel immune to future penalties for indiscretions. It further distresses me that this openly racist, unethical woman is still employed at the school district as a counselor to vulnerable students. Thank God my students do not attend Loma Vista school. Hope the parents of the students who go there are diligent in ensuring she is not permitted to abuse her position there also. Public censure is a joke and I personally want to apologize to the ethics committee for their work ethics being questioned and their valuable time being wasted. I'd like to thank Chuck Condor for again being the voice of reason. Let's see if his colleagues go to the same lengths to deliberate and defend him in his ethics review. This email was delayed but I wanted to strongly express my disagreement with the decision of the council to do basically nothing to send the message that Gabby's behavior was wrong and unacceptable. When she was promoted to the honorary role of Mayor pro tem a week AFTER the council censured her was an insult to all the rule abiding citizens in this county. I am truly disappointed in a local government that time and time again shows they do not represent all but rather only represent a certain group.
