I appreciate that a statement was released. But it's not enough to say "it's not us, it's
them". Again, for the sake of Public Health, it shouldn't be allowed to proceed. Let alone how
it belies the City's platform of inclusion. All you have to do is look up 'America First' and you
get an image of a KKK Rally. Does it matter that "it's them"? The court of public opinion
won't take the time to have a fair and balanced debate. A firmer and more declarative
statement should be released.
Thank you for your time.
Tom
On Fri, Jul 16, 2021 at 10:34 AM Pitchford, Phil <PPitchford(riversideca.gov> wrote:
Good morning, your email has made its way to me.
Please see our statement here: https://riversideca.gov/press/statement-city-riverside-re-
america-first-rally
Best regards,
Phil Pitchford
City of Riverside
Public Information Officer
Main: 951.826.5553
Direct: 951.826.5975
Cell: 951.675.6806
RiversideCA.gov
From: 2Mayor <2MAYOR&riversideca.gov>
Sent: Friday, July 16, 20219:52 AM
To: Pitchford, Phil <PPitchfordnriversideca.gov>
