W R I E R E N E R G Y I F F <br />N �r <br />s <br />PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />GENERAL MANAGERS REPORT <br />Board Memorandum <br />DATE: AUGUST 9, 2021 <br />SUBJECT: WA -12 AGRICULTURAL SERVICE WATER RATE REPORT— JUNE 30, 2021 <br />The City Council adopted the WA -12 Agricultural Service water rate schedule (WA -12) on October <br />15, 2019, with an effective date of January 1, 2020. As a result, the previous WA-3/WA-9 <br />customers were required to apply for the new WA -12 water rate schedule effective January 1, <br />2020, or transition to another applicable rate. Potential new customers began submitting <br />applications to be considered for the new WA -12 water rate schedule as of January 2, 2020. <br />As of June 30, 2021, the WA -12 water rate <br />transitioned from the previous WA-3/WA-9. <br />allocation of $684,000 has been allocated. <br />schedule includes 218 customers of which 141 <br />An estimated $408,573 of the annual program <br />As of January 1, 2021, the agricultural water allocation was updated using the rolling 15 -year <br />monthly average ETo value weather data (2005-2019). Through June 30, 2021, customers used <br />approximately 56% of their estimated allotment of water or 148,540 CCF out of the allotted <br />266,054 CCF, for the six-month period. <br />The attached graphics include additional WA -12 Agricultural Service water rate and program <br />allocation information. <br />
