CU-014-945 <br /> <br /> 1 RESOLUTION NO. 18639 <br /> <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, RENDERING ITS DECISION <br /> 3 GRANTING AN APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> 4 The Planning Commission of the City of Riverside on <br /> 5 November 17, 1994, denied the application of Yeager Brothers, <br /> 6 representing Riverside Homeless Coordinating Council, Zoning <br /> 7 Case CU-014-945, for a Conditional Use Permit to establish a <br /> 8 temporary social services facility for the homeless on <br /> 9 approximately 2.4 vacant acres at 2011 Spruce Street, in the <br /> 10 M-2-General Manufacturing and WC-Water Course Zones. <br /> 11 Ned Cooney and Jerry Doyle, Co-Chairmen, Riverside <br /> 12 Homeless Coordinating Council, appealed to the City Council <br /> 13 from the determination of the Planning Commission, and the <br /> 14 City Council of the City of Riverside conducted a public <br /> 15 hearing on January 3, 1995, in the matter of said appeal. <br /> 16 RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside <br /> 17 that it be and is hereby found and determined from the facts <br /> 18 and conditions shown by the evidence at the public hearing <br /> 19 and by the investigation of the City Council that the public <br /> 20 necessity, convenience, welfare and good zoning practices <br /> 21 justify the granting of said permit upon the terms and <br /> 22 conditions therein contained. <br /> 23 RESOLVED further that said Conditional Use Permit be <br /> 24 and is hereby granted and that the Mayor and City Clerk of <br /> 25 the City of Riverside be instructed to sign said permit. <br /> 26 / / / <br /> 27 <br /> <br />Attorney's Office <br />Street <br />CA 92522 <br />782-5567 <br /> F: \WPDATA\RES\ 95010401.
