AMD-1-912 <br /> <br /> 1 ORDINANCE NO. 5990 <br /> <br /> 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, <br /> AMENDING SECTION 19.46.020 OF THE RIVERSIDE <br /> 3 MUNICIPAL CODE TO PERMIT RESTAURANTS, CAFES AND <br /> CAFETERIAS IN THE MANUFACTURING PARK ("MP") ZONE <br /> ~ AND IN THE LIGHT MANUFACTURING ("M-i") ZONE <br /> SUBJECT TO SPECIFIED CRITERIA AND TO ALLOW <br /> 5 RESTAURANTS, CAFES AND CAFETERIAS, WHICH DO NOT <br /> MEET THE SPECIFIED CRITERIA, IN THE "MP" ZONE AND <br /> 6 IN THE "M-l" ZONE SUBJECT TO THE GRANTING OF A <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. <br /> ? <br /> 8 The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, <br /> 9 does ordain as follows: <br /> 10 Section 1: Paragraph (5) of Section 19.46.020 of the <br /> <br /> 11 Riverside Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 12 "(5) Restaurants, cafes and cafeterias, including those <br /> with outdoor dining as defined in Section 19.04.394 of <br /> 13 this Title, operated in conjunction with and incidental <br /> to a single permitted use for the convenience of persons <br /> 14 employed upon the premises or operated within a <br /> multi-tenant industrial park for the convenience of <br /> 15 persons employed within the same industrial park, each <br /> established and operated in accordance with the <br /> 16 following criteria: <br /> (A) A permitted restaurant, cafe or cafeteria shall <br /> 17 be located within the building of a single permitted use <br /> to serve the employees of that use only, or shall be <br /> 18 located in a tenant or owner space in a multi-tenant <br /> industrial park developed with attached tenant or owner <br /> 19 spaces to primarily serve the employees of that <br /> multi-tenant industrial park. This use shall not be <br /> 20 permitted as the sole or primary use in a separate <br /> freestanding building. <br /> 21 (B) A permitted restaurant, care or cafeteria <br /> located in a tenant or owner space in a multi-tenant <br /> 22 industrial park shall not exceed 1,500 square feet in <br /> total area including kitchen, storage, restroom and <br /> 23 outdoor dining areas. A permitted restaurant, cafe or <br /> cafeteria located within the building of a single <br /> 24 permitted use is not restricted to a maximum size. <br /> (C) The menu shall be limited to breakfast, lunch <br /> 25 and snack items only. Alcoholic beverage sales shall be <br /> limited to the incidental sale of beer and wine only. <br /> 26 (D) The hours of operation shall be limited to 6:00 <br /> a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. <br /> 27 (E) Parking shall be established and maintained in <br /> <br />ATTORNEY <br />RIVERSIDE <br />FORNI A <br /> <br /> <br />
