1 ORDINANCE NO. 5985 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL CODE 3 BY AMENDING SECTION 10.76.010 TO REMOVE THE EXISTING 35 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT ON BUSHNELL AVENUE ~ BETWEEN CAMPBELL AVENUE AND MITCHELL AVENUE AND THE 35 AND 40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMITS ON JONES 5 AVENUE BETWEEN ARLINGTON AVENUE AND HOLE AVENUE; TO AMEND SECTION 10.76.060 TO PROHIBIT PARKING AT ALL 6 TIMES ON ADDITIONAL PORTIONS OF INDIANA AVENUE; TO AMEND SECTION 10.76.141 TO LIMIT PARKING TO ONE HOUR ? ON A PORTION OF NIXON DRIVE BETWEEN 7:00 A.M. AND 5:00 P.M., EXCEPT SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS; AND 8 TO AMEND SECTION 10.76.175 TO ESTABLISH PREFERENTIAL PERMIT PARKING ON SAID PORTION OF NIXON DRIVE; 9 PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THE ONE HOUR PARKING RESTRICTION AND PREFERENTIAL PARKING PROVISIONS FOR NIXON DRIVE SHALL 10 NOT BE OPERATIVE UNTIL JUNE 15, 1992. 11 The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, 12 does ordain as follows: 13 Section 1: Section 10.76.010 of the Riverside Municipal 14 Code is amended by removing the specified speed limits on 15 Bushell Avenue and Jones Avenue; those portions of said section 16 relating to Bushnell Avenue and Jones Avenue are hereby deleted. 17 Section 2: Section 10.76.060 of the Riverside Municipal 18 Code is hereby amended to prohibit parking at all times on both 19 sides of Indiana Avenue between Harrison Street and Van Buren 20 Boulevard and on the south side of Indiana Avenue between 21 Harrison Street and Tyler Street, those portions of Section 22 10.76.060 relating to Indiana Avenue are amended to read as follows: 23 Name of Street Limits Where Parking Prohibited 24 Indiana Avenue, Arlington Avenue and 80 feet west of north side Jane Street; Jefferson Street and 230 25 feet westerly; Van Buren Boulevard and Harrison Street 26 Indiana Avenue, Tyler Street and Van Buren Boulevard; south side between 625 feet and 1,300 feet west 27 of Adams Street; 280 feet west of ATTORNEY DE CALIFORNIA
