CANDIDATE STATEMENT FOR
CITY COUNCIL MEMBER,
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, WARD 4
CANDIDATE STATEMENT FOR
CITY COUNCIL MEMBER,
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, WARD 4
CHUCK CONDER AGE: 64 MONROW MABON
OCCUPATION: City Councilmember / Retired Air Force Officer OCCUPATION: Pastor / Attorney
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: I EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
For the past four years it has been my honor to represent you on the
Riverside City Council. During that time, I have kept my word to always
make your safety my top priority, protect your tax dollars, and improve
Riverside's quality of life. My goals for another term are clear, More Cops,
Less Crime. Crime is rising across America. We can't let that happen in
Riverside. That's why I support hiring more police officers and oppose
all efforts to defunct the Police Department.
We must Re -Open Riverside. It's time to Re -open Riverside in a way that's
both safe and smart. We need to bring jobs back to Riverside by helping
our job creating businesses get back to normal as quickly as possible. I
will also work with our schools to get all children back in the classroom
full time. Students need classrooms, not screens.
Hold Politicians Accountable. I will fight against new taxes, higher debt,
wasteful city spending, and City Council pay raises. Reckless spending
threatens to push Riverside into bankruptcy. I will continue working hard
to prevent that from happening.
I would be honored to have your vote and continue serving as your council
representative.
ChuckConder.com (951) 533-4395
I have dedicated my life to service: as a combat veteran, police officer,
state attorney, pastor and as a Riverside City Commissioner. Now, I'm
running for City Council to listen to the needs of residents and serve you.
My family has lived in Orangecrest for nearly 20 years, where I served
on the homeowners' association and worked with neighbors to keep our
streets safe, protect our quality of life and ensure that City Hall worked
for us.
Serving on the Charter Review Committee, I make recommendations to
the City Council on our laws and promote policies to address fraud, waste,
and abuse. I have also served on the Human Relations Commission to
advocate for equal opportunity, justice, and access to services at City Hall.
As your City Councilmember, I will work to:
Prioritize pandemic funding for economic recovery,
Help small businesses succeed and recruit more job creators,
Reduce homelessness by addressing the root causes of the crisis, and
Fix our roads and vital infrastructure.
Our best days are still ahead of us. Together, we can recover and get our
community back to work.
I'd be honored to earn your vote.
33-3874-02
