BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />MINUTES <br />MONDAY, MARCH 8, 2021, 6:30 P.M. <br />VIRTUAL MEETING <br />City fArts&,Innovation PUBLIC COMMENT VIA TELEPHONE <br />3900 MAIN STREET, RIVERSIDE, CA 92522 <br />PRESENT: Chair Elizabeth Sanchez-Monville, Vice -Chair David Crohn, and Members <br />Ana Miramontes, Gil Oceguera, and Peter Wohlgemuth <br />ABSENT: None <br />Chair Crohn called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. <br />Vice -Chair Elizabeth Sanchez-Monville led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ELECTION OF BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES CHAIR AND VICE -CHAIR <br />Following discussion and without formal motion, the Board deferred the standing committee <br />assignments to Board of Public Utilities Customer Relations/Finance, Electric, and Water <br />Committees to a future Board of Public Utilities meeting date. <br />Following further discussion, it was moved by Member Oceguera and seconded by Member <br />Miramontes to elect Elizabeth Sanchez-Monville as Chair and David Crohn as Vice -Chair of <br />the Board of Public Utilities. The motion carried unanimously. <br />Chair Sanchez-Monville presided. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There was no one wishing to address the Board of Public Utilities. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />It was moved by Member Miramontes and seconded by Member Oceguera to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as presented below affirming the actions appropriate to each item. The <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />MINUTES <br />The minutes of the meeting of February 22, 2021, were approved as presented. <br />AGREEMENT - RIVERSIDE ENERGY RESOURCE CENTER, SPRINGS AND CLEARWATER POWER <br />PLANTS <br />The Board of Public Utilities (1) approved an agreement with Trimark Associates Inc., of <br />Folsom, California, for telemetry equipment support at the Riverside Energy Resource Center, <br />Springs and Clearwater Power Plants for an initial five-year term with the option to renew <br />annually for an additional five years in the amount of $431,021; and (2) authorized the City <br />Manager, or designee, to execute the agreement with Trimark Associates, Inc., including <br />
