BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />MINUTES <br />MONDAY, MARCH 22, 2021, 6:30 P.M. <br />VIRTUAL MEETING <br />CgofArts&Innovation PUBLIC COMMENT VIA TELEPHONE <br />3900 MAIN STREET, RIVERSIDE, CA 92522 <br />PRESENT: Chair Elizabeth Sanchez-Monville, Vice -Chair David Crohn, and Members <br />Ana Miramontes, Gil Oceguera, Andrew Walcker, and Peter Wohlgemuth <br />ABSENT: None <br />Chair Sanchez-Monville called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. and led the pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />Jason Hunter spoke regarding non -rate payer revenues, General Fund revenue, and <br />Southern California Public Power Authority supported projects. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />It was moved by Member Walcker and seconded by Member Oceguera to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as presented below affirming the actions appropriate to each item with <br />the Southern California Public Power Authority expenditures update item removed from the <br />Consent Calendar for separate discussion. The motion carried unanimously. <br />MINUTES <br />The minutes of the meeting of March 8, 2021, were approved as presented. <br />DISCUSSION CALENDAR <br />SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PUBLIC POWER AUTHORITY SEMI-ANNUAL EXPENDITURES FOR JULY <br />THROUGH DECEMBER 2020 UPDATE <br />Following discussion, if was moved by Member Oceguera and seconded by Member <br />Miramontes to (1) correct reference of expenditure report from biannual to semi-annual; <br />(2) receive and file the Southern California Public Power Authority semi-annual expenditure <br />report for the period of July through December 2020; and (3) recommend that the City <br />Council receive and file the Southern California Public Power Authority semi-annual <br />expenditure report update for the period of July through December 2020. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES GROUNDWATER ATLAS UPDATE <br />Following discussion, it was moved by Vice -Chair Crohn and seconded by Member <br />Oceguera to receive and order filed the update on the RPU's Groundwater Atlas. The motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
