CITY COUNCIL <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />MINUTES <br />FRIDAY, MARCH 5, 2021, 8:30 A.M. <br />• VIRTUAL MEETING <br />City fArts&.Innovation PUBLIC COMMENT VIA TELEPHONE <br />3900 MAIN STREET <br />PRESENT: Mayor Lock Dawson, Councilmembers Edwards, Melendrez, Fierro, Conder, <br />Perry, and Hemenway, and Councilwoman Plascencia <br />ABSENT: None <br />Mayor Lock Dawson called the meeting to order at 8:32 a.m. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />Malissa McKeith spoke regarding outgoing boards and commission members, Charter <br />Review Committee, and Board of Ethics. <br />COMMUNTIY POLICE REVIEW COMMISSION WARD 4 <br />Following interview, it was moved by Councilmember Conder and seconded by <br />Councilmember Perry to reappoint Phil DeBrier to the Ward 4 seat on the Community <br />Police Review Commission for a term ending March 1, 2025. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES WARD 7 <br />Following interview, it was moved by Councilmember Hemenway and seconded by <br />Councilmember Perry to reappoint Gildardo "Gil' Oceguera to the Ward 7 seat on the <br />Board of Public Utilities for a term ending March 1, 2025. The motion carried unanimously. <br />COMMUNTIY POLICE REVIEW COMMISSION WARD 2 <br />The Mayor and City Council interviewed Blake Williams, Joseph Victorian -White, and Leni <br />Zarate for the Ward 2 seat on the Community Police Review Commission for terms ending <br />March 1, 2025. <br />Following discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Melendrez and seconded by <br />Councilwoman Plascencia to appoint Blake Williams to the Ward 2 seat on the <br />Community Police Review Commission. The motion carried unanimously. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES WARD 6 <br />Following interview, it was moved by Councilmember Perry and seconded by <br />Councilmember Conder to appoint Rosemary Heru to the Ward 6 seat on the Board of <br />Public Utilities for a term ending March 1, 2025. The motion carried unanimously. <br />106-236 <br />
