WATER I ENERGYY LTFE <br />I RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />WI& Board Memorandum <br />P U B I I C U T I L I T I F <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DATE: MARCH 8, 2021 <br />GENERAL MANAGERS REPORT <br />SUBJECT: MONTHLY WA -12 AGRICULTURAL SERVICE WATER RATE REPORT — <br />JANUARY 31, 2021 <br />The City Council adopted the WA -12 Agricultural Service water rate schedule (WA -12) on October <br />15, 2019, with an effective date of January 1, 2020. As a result, the previous WA-3/WA-9 <br />customers were required to apply for the new WA -12 water rate schedule effective January 1, <br />2020, or transition to another applicable rate. Potential new customers began submitting <br />applications to be considered for the new WA -12 water rate schedule as of January 2, 2020. <br />As of January 31, 2021, the WA -12 water rate schedule includes 212 customers, of which 141 <br />transitioned from the previous WA-3/WA-9. An estimated $421,077 of the annual program <br />allocation of $684,000 has been allocated. <br />As of January 1, 2021, the agricultural water allocation was updated using the rolling 15 -year <br />monthly average ETo value weather data (2005-2019). Through January 31, 2021, customers <br />used approximately 57% of their estimated allotment of water or 17,092 CCF out of the allotted <br />29,924 CCF, for the one-month period. <br />The attached graphics include additional WA -12 Agricultural Service water rate and program <br />allocation information. <br />
