The project also
includes the installation of approximately 5,120 linear feet of pipeline to facilitate the consolidation
of the pressure zones.
The work of this project was completed under two separate construction contracts, one for the
booster station and one for the pipeline, each awarded by the Riverside Board of Public Utilities
(Board) on September 23, 2019, for a total project cost of $5,745,000.
DISCUSSION:
Construction of the pipeline was completed in August 2020, and the booster station was placed
in operation in October 2020, with some incidental work continuing through February 2021. Staff
will provide the attached presentation to update the Board on this vital RPU project.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact related to this update.
