VIRTUAL MEETING <br />City ofArts &Innovation PUBLIC COMMENT VIA TELEPHONE <br />3900 MAIN STREET, RIVERSIDE, CA 92522 <br />PRESENT: Chair David Crohn, Vice -Chair Elizabeth Sanchez-Monville, and Members <br />David Austin, Jeanette Hernandez, Ana Miramonfes, Gil Oceguera, <br />Jo Lynne Russo -Pereyra, Andrew Walcker, and Peter Wohlgemuth <br />ABSENT: None <br />Chair Crohn called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There was no one wishing to address the Board of Public Utilities. <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />TEMPORARY REVISION TO ELECTRIC RULE 4 AND WATER RULE 4 -RESOLUTION <br />Hearing was called to consider a temporary revision to Electric and Water Rules 4 to allow <br />small commercial customers adversely impacted by COVID-19 restrictions to apply for <br />the immediate application of the customer deposit to their account. One person spoke <br />on the matter. Following discussion, it was moved by Member Austin and seconded by <br />Member Walcker to close the public hearing. The motion carried unanimously. <br />Following further discussion, it was moved by Member Miramontes and seconded by <br />Vice -Chair Sanchez-Monville to (1) approve proposed changes to Electric Rule 4 and <br />Water Rule 4 to allow small commercial customers adversely impacted by COVID-19 <br />restrictions to apply for an expedited application of customer deposit to their account <br />effective until March 31, 2021; (2) adopt a Board resolution establishing the change to <br />Electric Rule 4 and Water Rule 4 for the purpose of providing relief and flexibility for local <br />small businesses affected by COVID-19 restrictions; and (3) recommending that the City <br />Council adopt the appropriate resolution establishing the changes to Electric Rule 4 and <br />Water Rule 4. The motion carried unanimously. <br />Whereupon, the title having been read and further reading waived, Resolution No. 2021-1 <br />of the Board of Public Utilities of the City of Riverside, California (1) adopting revised <br />Electric Rule 4 and Water Rule 4; (2) making findings of Fact; and (3) recommending City <br />Council approval thereof, was presented and adopted. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />It was moved by Member Walcker and seconded by Member Austin to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as presented below affirming the actions appropriate to each item <br />with the Work Order No. 2028672 for an Energy Storage System and Photovoltaic <br />
