RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES Board Memorandum FEBRUARY8,2021 The City Council adopted the WA-12AgriculturalService water rate schedule (WA-12) on October 15, 2019,with an effective date of January 1, 2020. As a result, the previous WA-3/WA-9 customers were required to apply forthe new WA-12water rate schedule effective January 1, 2020, or transition to another applicable rate. Potential new customers began submitting applications to be considered for the new WA-12 water rate schedule as of January 2, 2020. As of December 31, 2020,the WA-12 water ratescheduleincludes 212customers,of which 141 transitioned from the previous WA-3/WA-9. An estimated $371,733of the annual program allocation of $684,000 has been allocated. Through December 31, 2020, customers used approximately 60%of theirestimatedannual allotment of water or 306,331CCFout of the allotted 508,902CCFfor the 12-month period.
