The Riverside Cultural Trust is a steadily developing arts and economic development <br />advocacy organization. Our three-pronged vision is to advance economic development, <br />encourage revitalization of downtown, and develop arts and cultural in the Cultural District of <br />Riverside. <br /> <br />Having met throughout the past year, we are in the process of obtaining non-profit (501c3) <br />status. We have chosen a number of initiatives that we are focusing on this year including: <br />marketing of the arts in Riverside; supporting arts events such as the Arts Walk on First <br />Thursdays and the Arts Honors awards; advocating for arts related development; pursuing <br />funding sources and resources; and many other mechanisms by which we can augment the <br />City's arts and economic offerings. <br /> <br />We would like to have the opportunity to get acquainted with you and to present more <br />information on our goals and objectives. Details of our Board meeting are as follows: <br />Thursday February 26, 2004, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm, in the 6th Floor Large Conference Room <br />in City Hall. We would ask you to introduce yourself at the outset of the meeting and to <br />participate with any questions or comments you might have throughout the meeting. Please <br />RSVP to Kristin Tillquist in the Mayor's Office, who assists the Board, at 826-5810, <br />ktillquist~riversideca.gov. <br /> <br />Attached to this memo is a list of the Riverside Cultural Trust Board members, for your <br />information.
