RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br /> Board Memorandum <br />▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DATE: DECEMBER 22, 2020 <br />GENERAL MANAGERS REPORT <br />ITEM NO: <br />SUBJECT: WA-12 AGRICULTURAL SERVICE WATER RATE REPORT – OCTOBER 31, <br />2020 <br />The City Council adopted the WA-12 Agricultural Service water rate schedule (WA-12) on October <br />15, 2019, with an effective date of January 1, 2020. As a result, the previous WA-3/WA-9 <br />customers were required to apply for the new WA-12 water rate schedule effective January 1, <br />2020, or transition to another applicable rate. Potential new customers began submitting <br />applications to be considered for the new WA-12 water rate schedule as of January 2, 2020. <br />As of October 31, 2020, the WA-12 water rate schedule includes 212 customers of which 141 <br />transitioned from the previous WA-3/WA-9. An estimated $366,125 of the annual program <br />allocation of $684,000 has been allocated. <br />Through October 31, 2020, customers used approximately 58% of their estimated annual <br />allotment of water or 273,179 CCF out of the allotted 468,651 CCF, for the nine-month period. <br />The attached graphics include additional WA-12 Agricultural Service water rate and program <br />allocation information. <br />20
