RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES Board Memorandum ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES DATE: DECEMBER 22, 2020 GENERAL MANAGERS REPORT ITEM NO: SUBJECT: WA-12 AGRICULTURAL SERVICE WATER RATE REPORT – OCTOBER 31, 2020 The City Council adopted the WA-12 Agricultural Service water rate schedule (WA-12) on October 15, 2019, with an effective date of January 1, 2020. As a result, the previous WA-3/WA-9 customers were required to apply for the new WA-12 water rate schedule effective January 1, 2020, or transition to another applicable rate. Potential new customers began submitting applications to be considered for the new WA-12 water rate schedule as of January 2, 2020. As of October 31, 2020, the WA-12 water rate schedule includes 212 customers of which 141 transitioned from the previous WA-3/WA-9. An estimated $366,125 of the annual program allocation of $684,000 has been allocated. Through October 31, 2020, customers used approximately 58% of their estimated annual allotment of water or 273,179 CCF out of the allotted 468,651 CCF, for the nine-month period.
