2 <br />3 <br />41 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />?.R <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE <br />3900 MAIN STREET <br />RIVERSIDE, CA 92522 <br />(951) 826-5567 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 23653 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CONFLICT OF <br />INTEREST CODE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE FOR CITY <br />EMPLOYEES AND OFFICIALS IN ITS ENTIRETY AND BY <br />REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 23389 WHICH AMENDMENT IS TO <br />BE EFFECTIVE UPON ADOPTION. <br />WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act, Government Code Section 81000, et SeM., requires <br />state and local government agencies to adopt and promulgate conflict of interest codes; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fair Political Practices Commission has adopted a regulation, 2 California <br />Code of Regulations Section 18730, which contains the terms of a standard conflict of interest- code; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, such standard terms can be incorporated by reference and may be amended by <br />the Fair Political Practices Commission after public notice and hearings to conform to amendments in <br />the Political Reform Act. <br />follows: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside as <br />1. The terms of 2 California Code of Regulations Section 18730, a copy of which section <br />is marked Appendix C and attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference, and any <br />amendments to it duly adopted by the Fair Political Practices Commission are hereby incorporated by <br />reference and, along with the attached Appendices A-1 through A-16, in which employees and officials <br />are designated, and Appendix B, in which disclosure categories are set forth, constitute the conflict of <br />interest code of the City of Riverside for its employees and officials. <br />2. Designated employees shall file statements of economic interests with the City Clerk. <br />3. Resolution No. 23389 shall be repealed and shall no longer have legal effect as of the <br />effective date of this resolution. <br />4. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption. <br />
