AM-007-901 1 ORDINANCE NO. 6033 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 19 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL CODE 3 BY ADDING DEFINITIONS TO CHAPTER 19.04 AND AMENDING SECTIONS 19.26.020, 19.28.020, 19.30.020, 19.32.020, ~ 19.34.020, 19.36.020, 19.50.020, AND 19.58.020 TO ESTABLISH A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUIREMENT FOR 5 THE OFF-SITE SALES OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND TO ESTABLISH LOCATION AND DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS THERE- 6 FORE. ? The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, 8 does ordain as follows: 9 Section 1: Chapter 19.04 of the Riverside Municipal 10 Code is hereby amended by adding the following definitions 11 thereto as new Sections 19.04.391 and 19.04.392 to read as 12 follows: 13 "19.04.391 OFF-SALE. "The sale of beer and wine 14 (off-sale beer and wine) or of all types of alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine (off-sale general), 15 in their original, sealed containers for consumption off the premises." 16 "19.04.392 ON-SALE. "The sale of beer and wine (on 17 sale beer and wine) or of all types of alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine (on sale general), 18 for consumption on the premises." 19 Section 2: Section 19.26.020 of the Riverside Municipal 20 Code is hereby amended by adding thereto a new subsection (8) to 21 read as follows: 22 "(8) Off-Sale of all alcoholic beverages subject to a conditional use permit and the site location criteria and 23 development standards listed below. However, the requirement for a conditional use permit shall not apply 24 to establishments containing 15,000 square feet or more of gross floor area which do not sell alcoholic beverages 25 as their principal business. 26 A.
