<br /> 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA,
<br /> AMENDING CHAPTER 16.32 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL
<br /> 3 CODE IN ORDER TO ADOPT BY REFERENCE THE 1991
<br /> EDITIONS OF THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE AND THE UNIFORM
<br /> ~ FIRE CODE STANDARDS AND TO PROVIDE FOR REVISIONS TO
<br /> SAID CHAPTER RELATING TO THE ADOPTION OF SAID CODES.

<br /> 6 The City Council of the City of Riverside does ordain as
<br /> 7 follows:
<br />
<br /> 8 Section 1: Section 16.32.020 of the Riverside Municipal
<br />
<br /> 9 Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
<br /> 10 "16.32.020 UNIFORM FIRE CODE, 1991 EDITION
<br /> ADOPTED. The Uniform Fire Code, 1991 Edition, including
<br /> 11 appendices and any related errata, and the Uniform Fire
<br /> Code Standards, 1991 Edition and any related errata,
<br /> 12 promulgated by the International Conference of Building
<br /> Officials and the Western Fire Chiefs Association, 5360
<br /> 13 South Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California, which
<br /> prescribes regulations consistent with nationally
<br /> 14 recognized good practice for the safeguarding, to a
<br /> reasonable degree, of life and property from the hazards
<br /> 15 of fire and explosion arising from the storage, handling
<br /> and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices
<br /> 16 and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the
<br /> use or occupancy of buildings or premises, are adopted
<br /> 17 and by this reference are made a part of this Code with
<br /> the force and effect as though set out herein in full,
<br /> 18 with the exception of the parts expressly excepted and
<br /> deleted or as amended by this Chapter. One copy of each
<br /> 19 of the Uniform Fire Code and Uniform Fire Code
<br /> Standards, which have been certified as true copies, are
<br /> 20 on file and open to public inspection in the office of
<br /> the City Clerk."

<br /> 22 Section 2: Section 16.32.030 of the Riverside Municipal
<br /> 23 Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
<br /> 24 "16.32.030 SECTIONS 4.108 SUBSECTIONS a.1, a.2,
<br /> a.3, a.4, b.1, c.3, c.4, c.5, c.6, c.7, c.8, d.1, d.2,
<br /> 25 f.1, f.3, f.4, f.5, g.1, h.1, h.2, j.1, 1.1, 1.3, m.1,
<br /> n.1, o.3, o.4, p.1, r.1, r.2, s.1, t.2, w.1 and w.2; and
<br /> 26 11.103; APPENDICES II-F-2(b), III-B, and TABLE A-III-B-1
<br /> DELETED.
