1 ORDINANCE NO. 6123 1' ff 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA,~ RESCINDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 6117 OF THE 3 CITY OF RIVERSIDE AND RE-ESTABLISHING THE MAYOR'S SALARY TO THE LEVEL PREVIOUSLY APPROVED IN 1990 BY 4 ORDINANCE NO. 5827, AND RESCINDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 6118 OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE TO 5 RE-ESTABLISH THE CITY COUNCIL'S NON-ITEMIZED EXPENSE ACCOUNT TO THE LEVEL PREVIOUSLY APPROVED IN 1988 BY 6 ORDINANCE NO. 5646. 7 The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, 8 does ordain as follows: 9 Section 1: Section 1 of Ordinance NO. 6117 of the City 10 of Riverside, California is hereby rescinded, and Section 1 of 11 Ordinance No. 5827 of the City of Riverside, California, is 12 hereby reestablished as setting the level of the Mayor's salary; 13 said section shall read as follows: 14 "Upon assuming office, the salary of the Mayor shall be Forty-Three Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($43,200.00) 15 per year until further adjusted by action of the City Council. Said salary shall be payable in substantially 16 equal installments at the same time and manner as salaries of other officers and employees of the City." 17 18 Section 2: All other provisions of Ordinance No.6117 19 shall remain in full force and effect. 20 Section 3: Section 1 of Ordinance No. 6118 of the City 21 of Riverside, California, is hereby rescinded and Section 2 of 22 Ordinance No. 5646 of the City of Riverside, California is hereby 23 reestablished as setting the level of out-of-pocket expenses and 24 other costs of the City Council; said section shall read as 25 follows: 26 "For out-of-pocket expenses and other costs incurred in serving as a councilperson, each member shall receive 27 an expense allowance in the amount of Two Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($275.00) per month."
