A24-003-934 <br /> <br /> 1 ORDINANCE NO. 6119 <br /> 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, <br /> AMENDING TITLE 19 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL CODE TO <br /> 3 ESTABLISH A MINOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT PROCESS AND <br /> TO MAKE THAT PROCESS APPLICABLE TO AUXILIARY <br /> 4 DWELLING UNITS, PRIVATE FUELING STATIONS WITH ABOVE <br /> GROUND TANKS, VAPOR RECOVERY OPERATIONS, EXPANSIONS <br /> 5 OF USES WITH EXISTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS, AND <br /> EXPANSIONS OF NON-CONFORMING RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES. <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, <br /> 8 does ordain as follows: <br /> 9 Section 1: Subsection (13) of Section 19.07.030 of the <br /> 10 Riverside Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 11 "(13) Auxiliary dwelling units as defined by <br /> Section 19.04.037 of this Title subject to the granting <br /> 12 of a minor conditional use permit provided all of the <br /> following criteria apply: <br /> 13 <br /> (A) The use shall be conducted on a property <br /> 14 zoned HR, RA, RC, R-1 or RR and shall be <br /> limited to only one auxiliary dwelling unit, <br /> 15 <br /> (B) The use shall be established within a stick- <br /> 16 built or prefabricated structure, attached to <br /> or detached from the primary dwelling unit on <br /> 17 the property, a mobile home, a travel trailer <br /> or a motor home. Such auxiliary unit shall <br /> 18 have no separate address or house number, <br /> 19 (C) The number of occuDants shall be limited to <br /> two, <br /> 2O <br /> (D) Both occupants shall be 60 years old or <br /> 21 older, <br /> 22 (E) The primary or the auxiliary dwelling unit on <br /> the property shall be occupied by the legal <br /> 23 owner of the property, <br /> 24 (F) The auxiliary dwelling unit shall be <br /> established in such a way as to minimize its <br /> 25 visibility from adjacent streets and <br /> properties, <br /> 26 <br /> (G) The gross square footage of the auxiliary <br /> 27 dwelling unit, excluding attached covered <br /> <br />Attorney's Office <br />Street <br />CA 92522 <br />782-5567 <br /> F: \WPDATA\ORD\ 93255502.
