N �r s P U B L I C U r RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES Board Memorandum DATE: NOVEMBER 9, 2020 GENERAL MANAGERS REPORT ITEM NO: 14 SUBJECT: WA -12 AGRICULTURAL SERVICE WATER RATE REPORT— SEPTEMBER 30, 2020 The City Council adopted the WA -12 Agricultural Service water rate schedule (WA -12) on October 15, 2019, with an effective date of January 1, 2020. As a result, the previous WA-3/WA-9 customers were required to apply for the new WA -12 water rate schedule effective January 1, 2020, or transition to another applicable rate. Potential new customers began submitting applications to be considered for the new WA -12 water rate schedule as of January 2, 2020. As of September 30, 2020, the WA -12 water rate schedule includes 211 customers of which 141 transitioned from the previous WA-3/WA-9. An estimated $358,045 of the annual prograrr allocation of $684,000 has been allocated. Through September 30, 2020, customers used approximately 56% of their estimated annual allotment of water or 244,758 CCF out of the allotted 434,615 CCF, for the nine-month period.
