CLOSED SESSION The Mayor and City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for a closed session pursuant to Government Code §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning Andria Jacobs v. City of Riverside - WCAB No. DEU D06822. City Attorney Priamos announced there was no reportable action taken. RECESS The City Council recessed at 2 p.m. and reconvened at 3 p.m. in the Art Pick Council Chamber. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND PLANNING REFERRALS AND APPEALS CASE EP-039-890 (REVISED) - 5301 LOCHMOOR - CONTINUED Further hearing was called on the appeal of Friends of Riverside's Hills and Susan Nash, Conservation Chair, San Bernardino Valley Audubon Society, from the decision of the Planning Commission in approving subject to conditions the proposal of Jim Guthrie for variances related to the construction of a single-family residence at 5301 Lochmoor Drive (Lot 11 of Tract 28170) situated on the west side of Lochmoor Drive, southerly of Central Avenue, in Zone RC. At the applicant's request, the public hearing was continued to 3 pm. November 18, 2003. CASE VR-023-023 - 5319 LOCHMOOR - CONTINUED Further hearing was called on the appeal of Friends of Riverside's Hills and Susan Nash, Conservation Chair, San Bernardino Valley Audubon Society, from the decision of the Planning Commission in approving subject to conditions the proposal of Jim Guthrie for variances related to the construction of a single-family residence at 5319 Lochmoor Drive (Lot 12 of Tract 28170) situated on the west side of Lochmoor Drive southerly of Central Avenue, in Zone RC. Variance requested: To allow a two-story, 27.5-fcot- high single-family residence where the Code permits a maximum single-story, 20-foot-high single-family residence. At the applicant's request, the public hearing was continued to 3 p.m. on November 18, 2003. CASE P03-0140 GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT PROPOSALS RESOLUTION Hearing was called on the proposal of the City of Riverside to amend the Zoning Ordinance (Title 19) of the Riverside Municipal Code to establish procedures for processing General Plan amendment proposals.
