N �r <br />s <br />P U B L I C U r <br />RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />Board Memorandum <br />DATE: JULY 13, 2020 <br />GENERAL MANAGER'S REPORT ITEM NO: 10 <br />SUBJECT: WA -12 AGRICULTURAL SERVICE WATER RATE REPORT— MAY 31, 2020 <br />The City Council adopted the WA -12 Agricultural Service water rate schedule (WA -12) on October <br />15, 2019, with an effective date of January 1, 2020. As a result, the previous WA-3/WA-9 <br />customers were required to apply for the new WA -12 rate schedule effective January 1, 2020, or <br />transition to another applicable rate. Potential new customers could begin submitting applications <br />to be considered for the new WA -12 water rate as of January 2, 2020. <br />As of May 31, 2020, the WA -12 rate includes 211 customers of which 149 transitioned from the <br />previous WA-3/WA-9 and 62 are new customers. Five customers were reclassified from new to <br />previous WA-3/WA-9 since the previous report. An estimated $350,002 of the annual program <br />allocation of $684,000 has been allocated. <br />Through May 31, 2020, customers used approximately 45% of their allotted CCF, or 88,236 CCF <br />out of the allotted 196,255 CCF, for the five-month period. <br />The attached graphics include additional WA -12 Agricultural Service water rate and program <br />allocation information. <br />
