City Attorney Priamos stated there was no <br />reportable action taken. <br /> <br />The Mayor and City Council returned to the Art Pick Council Chamber. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AND PLANNING REFERRALS AND APPEALS <br /> <br />MOBILE HOME PARK RENT STABILIZATION <br />Hearing was called to consider the annual review of the report of the City <br />Manager relative to the provisions of Chapter 5.75 of the Riverside Municipal <br />Code concerning activities undertaken dudng the past 12-month pedod <br />relative to mobile home park rent stabilization procedures. Staff advised that <br />the amount of allowable increase in rent for 2004 is 1.68 percent according to <br />the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Four people spoke relative to mobile home <br />park rent stabilization. Following discussion, the public hearing was officially <br />closed. Following further discussion, the City Council requested staff to notify <br />mobile home park owners and tenant representatives on record of the <br />maximum allowable rent increase that will take effect in calendar year 2004 <br />according to Section 5.75.040 of the Riverside Municipal Code. <br /> <br />Councilmember Defenbaugh was excused at this time. <br /> <br />CASE P03-0503 - APPEAL - 10789 HOLE - CONTINUED <br />Discussion relative to the appeal of Administrative Planning Case P03-0503 <br />by John Beke, Project Manager, Nextel Communications, from the decision of <br />the Zoning Administrator in tentatively denying the request of Nextel <br />Communications to construct a wireless communications facility designed to <br />resemble a palm tree and an unmanned equipment enclosure on <br />approximately 1.8 acres developed with a mini-storage facility at 10789 Hole <br />Avenue between Mitchell and Hedrick Avenues, in Zone C-3-S-2, was <br />continued to 3 p.m. on October 14, 2003. <br /> <br />Councilmember Defenbaugh returned to the Art Pick Council Chamber during <br />the following discussion. <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br />89-112 <br /> <br /> <br />
