1 RESOLUTION NO. ]8633 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PLAN OF 3 SERVICES FOR THE MUNICIPAL REORGANIZATION KNOWN AS CITY OF RIVERSIDE REORGANIZATION CASE ANX-083-945 4 WHICH INCLUDES THE DETACHMENT OF CERTAIN TERRITORY FROM THE CITY OF NORCO AND ITS CONCURRENT ANNEXATION 5 TO THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE; CONCURRING WITH THE MUNICIPAL REORGANIZATION; AND REQUESTING THE 6 APPROVAL OF THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION OF SAID MUNICIPAL 7 REORGANIZATION. 8 WHEREAS proceedings have been initiated pursuant to 9 the Cortese-Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985, 10 being Division 3 of Title 5 of the Government Code of the 11 State of California (commencing with Section 56000) for a 12 Sphere of Influence Amendment which includes the deletion 13 from the Sphere of Influence of the City of Norco the 14 approximately 65 acres of land which lies easterly of the 15 ridgeline of the Norco Hills within said City of Norco and 16 the inclusion of said 65 acres within the Sphere of Influence 17 of the City of Riverside for the purpose of annexing said 65 18 acres to said City of Riverside, and which further includes 19 the deletion from the Sphere of Influence of the City of 20 Riverside the approximately 109 acres which lies westerly of 21 the ridgeline of the Norco Hills within said City of 22 Riverside and the inclusion of said 109 acres within the 23 Sphere of Influence of the City of Norco for the purpose of 24 annexing said 109 acres to said City of Norco; and 25 WHEREAS a plan for providing services is required as a 26 condition of approval by the Riverside County Local Agency 27 Formation Commission ("LAFCO") of said Sphere of Influence Attorney's Once ~reet CA 92~2 782-5567 F:\WPDATA\RES~94243201.BP
