CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br />Minutes of: <br />Time of Meeting: <br />Place of Meeting: <br />Date of Meeting: <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />1:30 p.m. <br />Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall <br />July 22, 2003 <br /> <br />WARDS <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There were no comments presented at this time. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSIONS <br />The Mayor and City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for <br />closed sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) §54956.8 to instruct the <br />City's negotiators, Terry Nielsen and Mel Gutierrez, regarding price and terms <br />of payment for the pumhase, sale, exchange, or lease of 4928-4962 Dewey <br />Avenue by Schuyler "Skip" Jackson, Negotiator; and (2) §54956.9 to confer <br />with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning Richard Richmond <br />v. City of Riverside - WCAB Claim Nos. 020344 and 020394. City Attorney <br />Priamos stated there were no reportable actions taken. <br /> <br />RECESS <br />The City Council recessed at 2:10 p.m. and reconvened at 3 p.m. in the Art <br />Pick Council Chamber. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AND PLANNING REFERRALS AND APPEALS <br /> <br />JOINT HEARING WITH AGENCY - 2900 ORANGE AND 2909/2925 <br />LEMON - SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION <br />Joint hearing was called to consider the disposition of certain real property by <br />the Redevelopment Agency to Jamco Holdings, Inc., pursuant to the terms <br />and provisions of a Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) for the <br />development of six unimproved properties located within the Merged <br />Downtown Airport Redevelopment Project Area at 2900 Orange and <br />2909/2925 Lemon Streets. No one was present wishing to speak on the <br />matter. No written protests were presented. The public hearing was officially <br />closed. The City Council accepted the property sales proceeds of $73,000 <br />into Sale of Land Building Account 0000221-374200 and appropriated the <br />proceeds into HOME Unprogrammed Funds Account 2835200-453001. <br /> <br />CASE P03-0401 - 8505 INDIANA <br />Hearing was called on the proposal of Robert Bollin, on behalf of Walter <br />Kienle, to amend the Riverside Auto Center Specific Plan by adding <br />approximately .6-vacant acre into the Specific Plan area to establish an <br />automobile dealership with ancillary vehicle storage and servicing at <br />8505 Indiana Avenue situated between the 91 Freeway and Indiana Avenue <br />and westerly of Adams Street. No one was present wishing to speak on the <br />matter. No written protests were presented. The public hearing was officially <br />closed.
