CITY OF RIVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL Minutes of: Time of Meeting: Place of Meeting: Date of Meeting: Regular Meeting of the City Council 2 p.m. Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall June 24, 2003 Roll Call: In the absence of Mayor Loveridge, Mayor Pro Tempore Adkison called the meeting to order at 2 p.m. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE There were no comments presented at this time. CLOSED SESSIONS The City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning City of Riverside, California Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Docket No. EL 03-20-000; and (2) §54957 for performance evaluation of the City Clerk. There were no reportable actions on the closed sessions. RECESS The City Council recessed at 3 p.m. and reconvened at 3:10 p.m. in the Mayor's Ceremonial Room. WORKSHOP JOINT WORKSHOP WITH PLANNING COMMISSION - GENERAL PLAN UPDATE Following discussion relative to the update to the City's General Plan and Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances, and without formal motion, the City Council received and ordered filed the report. RECESS The City Council recessed at 5:10 p.m. and reconvened at 6:15 p.m. in the Art Pick Council Chamber. REPORT FROM MUNICIPAL MUEUM BOARD Chairperson Steven E. Mains reported on the activities of the Municipal Museum Board. Following discussion, the City Council thanked Mr. Mains for his report. The Invocation was given by Councilmember Schiavone. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. MAYOR PRO TEMPORE Councilmember Hart presented a plaque to Councilmember Adkison for his dedicated service as Mayor Pro Tempore from January 1 through June 30, 2003. 88-463 WARDS Present ;OUNCILMEMBERS
