RESOLUTION NO. 724 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE APPROVING AND TRANSMITTING THE REPORT TO CITY <br />COUNCIL FOR THE PROPOSED HUNTER PARIONORTHSIDE <br />REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TO THE RIVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL AND <br />APPROVING THE DELETION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY THEREFROM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside (the "Agency") has <br />prepared a Report to City Council on the Redevelopment Plan for the proposed Hunter <br />Park/Northside Redevelopment Project (the "Redevelopment Plan") in compliance with <br />Section 33352 of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code, <br />Sections 33000, et seq.) (the "CRL"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency has prepared the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the <br />proposed Project Area in accordance with the various provisions of the CRL related thereto; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Riverside Planning Commission (the "Planning Commission") on <br />December 5, 2002, approved the Preliminary Plan for the proposed Project and established <br />the boundaries of the proposed Project (the "Project Area"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 22, 2003, at a meeting continued from May 8, 2003, the <br />Planning Commission approved revised boundaries for the Project Area, deleting one parcel <br />of land that is protected as an agricultural preserve under the Williamson Act, as shown on <br />the attached map as the "Deletion Area" (Exhibit "A"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the removal of the Deletion Area changed the Project Area map in the <br />Redevelopment Plan as shown on the attached map (Exhibit "B"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, CRL Section 33350.5 specifies that a planning commission may change <br />the boundaries of a project area with the approval of an agency. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of the Redevelopment <br />Agency of the City of Riverside, California, as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The Agency hereby approves the Report to City Council, which includes <br />the Redevelopment Plan, Environmental Impact Report, and the Relocation Method. <br /> <br /> <br />
